  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to historical resources;

  3         amending s. 607.1901, F.S.; correcting a

  4         cross-reference; providing an appropriation for

  5         the purposes of funding historical museum

  6         programs in this state; correcting a

  7         cross-reference; providing an effective date.

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11         Section 1.  Paragraph (g) of subsection (2) of section

12  607.1901, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:

13         607.1901  Corporations Trust Fund creation; transfer of

14  funds.--

15         (2)

16         (g)  The division shall transfer from the trust fund to

17  the Historical Resources Operating Trust Fund, quarterly,

18  prorations transferring $2 million each fiscal year, to be

19  used as provided in s. 267.0617 267.0671.

20         Section 2.  The sum of $500,000 is appropriated for

21  Fiscal Year 1999-2000 from the General Revenue Fund to the

22  Department of State for the purpose of funding historical

23  museum programs.

24         Section 3.  This act shall take effect July 1, 1999.
