17         Section 1.  Section 624.6085, Florida Statutes, is

18  created to read:

19         624.6085  "Collateral protection insurance"

20  defined.--For purposes of ss. 215.555, 627.311, and 627.351,

21  "collateral protection insurance" means commercial property

22  under which a creditor is the primary beneficiary and

23  policyholder and which protects or covers an interest of the

24  creditor arising out of a credit transaction secured by real

25  or personal property. Initiation of such coverage is triggered

26  by the mortgagor's failure to maintain insurance coverage as

27  required by the mortgage or other lending document. Collateral

28  protection insurance is not residential coverage.
