15 On page 55, between lines 25 and 26,

17 insert:
18 Section 55. Subsection (11) of section 1001.364,
19 Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
20 1001.364 Alternate procedure for election of district
21 school board chair.--
22 (11) This section applies only to those counties that
23 are not organized by charter and that have a population of
24 between 800,000 and 900,000 according to the last federal
25 decennial census.
