       The Committee on Transportation (Gardiner) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2         
    3         Between lines 55 and 56
    4  insert:
    5         Section 2. Implementation of litigation settlement
    6  provisions of Collier v. Dickinson.—
    7         (1)Any person who held a driver's license, identification
    8  card, or motor vehicle registration that was valid between June
    9  1, 2000, and September 30, 2004, is eligible to receive a single
   10  $1 credit on a new or renewed motor vehicle registration between
   11  July 1, 2009, and June 30, 2010.
   12         (2)The revenue generated by s. 320.08046, Florida
   13  Statutes, and deposited into the General Revenue Fund shall fund
   14  the $1 credit.
   15         (3)This section expires July 1, 2011.

   24  reference to the Bureau of Motor Vehicle Inspection; providing
   25  for the implementation of a certain litigation settlement;
   26  providing eligibility and procedures to collect the credit;
