SB 1336: Renewable Energy

GENERAL BILL by Bennett

Renewable Energy; Revises legislative intent regarding the state's renewable energy policy. Deletes provisions requiring that the Public Service Commission adopt rules for a renewable portfolio standard. Requires that the commission provide for full cost recovery. Allows each provider of Florida renewable energy resources to build such resources, convert existing fossil fuel generation plants to a renewable energy resource, or purchase renewable energy to recover costs, etc.
