SB 1484: Governmental Ethics

GENERAL BILL by Fasano

Governmental Ethics; Requires that all disclosures otherwise required by law be made in writing on forms prescribed by the Commission on Ethics. Provides penalties if a public official makes a prohibited appointment, employment, promotion, or advancement decision for an individual. Creates provisions pertaining to qualified blind trusts. Prohibits a reporting individual or procurement employee from soliciting or accepting a gift in excess of a certain value from a vendor doing business with the reporting individual or the procurement agency, etc.
