CS/SB 2036: Uniform Traffic Control

GENERAL BILL by Education Pre-K - 12 ; Braynon

Uniform Traffic Control; Authorizes school districts to deploy school bus traffic infraction detectors under certain circumstances. Provides for use of school bus traffic infraction detectors to enforce specified provisions requiring a person driving a vehicle to stop when approaching a school bus displaying a stop signal. Authorizes the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, a county, or a municipality to authorize a traffic infraction enforcement officer to issue and enforce a citation for a violation of such provisions, etc.
