SB 2102: Health Insurance Benefits for State Employees

GENERAL BILL by Budget

Health Insurance Benefits for State Employees; Deletes references to TRICARE supplemental insurance plans. Deletes the Department of Management Services' authorization to contract with health maintenance organizations for participation in the state group insurance program. Authorizes the Department of Management Services to establish health maintenance incentive programs. Deletes the authority of state agencies to allow certain former personnel and their eligible dependents the option of continuing to participate in certain group insurance plans or self-insurance plans, etc.
