       Senator Richter moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete line 3175
    4  and insert:
    5  the terms of the policy. If a covered building suffers a
    6  sinkhole loss or a catastrophic ground cover collapse, the
    7  insured must repair such damage or loss in accordance with the
    8  insurer’s professional engineer’s recommended repairs. However,
    9  if the insurer’s professional engineer determines that the
   10  repair cannot be completed within policy limits, the insurer
   11  must pay to complete the repairs recommended by the insurer’s
   12  professional engineer or tender the policy limits to the
   13  policyholder.
