SPB 7118: Juvenile Justice

PROPOSED BILL by Budget

Juvenile Justice; Provides legislative intent. Defines the term "regional coordinating agency." Provides requirements for a regional coordinating agency. Requires the Department of Juvenile Justice to contract with regional coordinating agencies for specified services relating to juvenile justice. Gives hiring preference to current department employees who meet provider qualifications if they apply for employment with the regional coordinating agencies, etc.
