       The Committee on Budget (Bennett) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (616172) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Delete lines 93 - 104
    5  and insert:
    6         3. Reimbursement for services provided by each type of
    7  licensed medical provider authorized to render such services
    8  under subparagraph 2. is limited to the lesser of 24 treatments
    9  or to services rendered within 24 weeks after the date of the
   10  initial treatment, whichever comes first, unless the insurer
   11  authorizes additional services.
   12         4. Medical benefits include massage as defined in s.
   13  480.033 or acupuncture as defined in s. 457.102. However,
   14  massage and acupuncture services may not be reimbursed under
   15  this section unless such services are rendered by a licensed
   16  massage therapist or licensed acupuncturist who is under the
   17  direct supervision of a physician licensed under chapter 458 or
   18  chapter 459, or a chiropractic physician licensed under chapter
   19  460.

   27         1. An entity wholly owned by a physician licensed under
   28  chapter 458 or chapter 459, by a chiropractic physician licensed
   29  under chapter 460, or by the physician or chiropractic physician
   30  and the spouse, parent, child, or sibling of the physician or
   31  chiropractic physician;
   32         2. An entity wholly owned by a dentist licensed under
   33  chapter 466, or by the dentist and the spouse, parent, child, or
   34  sibling of the dentist;
   35         3. A hospital or ambulatory surgical center licensed under
   36  chapter 395; or
   37         4. An entity that wholly owns or is wholly owned, directly
   38  or indirectly, by a hospital or hospitals licensed under chapter
   39  395.
