       Senator Bogdanoff moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (435312) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Delete lines 97 - 102
    5  and insert:
    6         4. Medical benefits for massage services as defined in s.
    7  480.033 and acupuncture services as defined in s. 457.102 may be
    8  reimbursed under this section only if such services are rendered
    9  by a licensed massage therapist as defined in s. 480.033 or a
   10  licensed acupuncturist as defined in s. 457.102. Acupuncture and
   11  massage services may be reimbursed only if referred by a
   12  physician. Acupuncture and massage therapy are covered only if
   13  they are components of a medically necessary treatment plan, and
   14  are not covered in the absence of treatment or other therapeutic
   15  modalities performed by the referring physician.
