    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to trust funds; creating s. 215.1995,
    3         F.S.; establishing the One-Stop Business Registration
    4         Portal Clearing Trust Fund to serve as a depository
    5         for receipts obtained through the One-Stop Business
    6         Registration Portal and for subsequent transfer or
    7         distribution to appropriate agencies and accounts;
    8         providing for future review and termination or re
    9         creation of the trust fund; providing a contingent
   10         effective date.

   12  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   13  
   14         Section 1. Section 215.1995, Florida Statutes, is created
   15  to read:
   16         215.1995 One-Stop Business Registration Portal Clearing
   17  Trust Fund.—
   18         (1) The One-Stop Business Registration Portal Clearing
   19  Trust Fund is created within the Department of Revenue.
   20         (2) The fund is established for use as a depository for
   21  fees paid through the One-Stop Business Registration Portal,
   22  established under s. 288.109, and for subsequent transfer or
   23  distribution of those fees to appropriate agencies and accounts.
   24         (3) The Department of Revenue shall transfer or distribute
   25  the moneys in the trust fund to the appropriate agencies and
   26  accounts in the month following receipt.
   27         (4) In accordance with s. 19(f)(2), Art. III of the State
   28  Constitution, the trust fund shall, unless terminated sooner, be
   29  terminated on July 1, 2016. Before its scheduled termination,
   30  the trust fund shall be reviewed as provided in s. 215.3206(1)
   31  and (2).
   32         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2012, if SB
   33  1976 or similar legislation is adopted in the same legislative
   34  session or an extension thereof and becomes law.
