       Senator Sachs moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 125 - 141
    4  and insert:
    5         (7) A prenuptial agreement that requires the interpretation
    6  or enforcement of any foreign law, legal code, or system is void
    7  and unenforceable in the courts of this state.
    8         (8) This section may not be construed to:
    9         (a) Require or authorize any court to adjudicate, or
   10  prohibit any religious organization from adjudicating,
   11  ecclesiastical matters, including, but not limited to, the
   12  election, appointment, calling, discipline, dismissal, removal,
   13  or excommunication of a member, officer, official, priest, nun,
   14  monk, pastor, rabbi, imam, or member of the clergy of the
   15  religious organization, or determination or interpretation of
   16  the doctrine of the religious organization, if such adjudication
   17  or prohibition would violate s. 3, Art. I of the State
   18  Constitution or the First Amendment to the United States
   19  Constitution; or
   20         (b) Conflict with any federal treaty or other international
   21  agreement to which the United States is a party to the extent
   22  that such federal treaty or international agreement preempts or
   23  is superior to state law on the matter at issue.
   24         (9) If any provision of this section or its application to
