GENERAL BILL by Simmons ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Montford

Charter Schools; Revising the requirements of charter school applications regarding the submission of detailed financial information and annual employee compensation; requiring a charter school application to demonstrate that the applicant is financially capable and qualified to open, operate, and maintain a high-quality charter school; revising the grounds in which a sponsor may choose not to renew or terminate a charter; authorizing a governing board of a charter school, with the consent of the sponsor, to choose a corrective action if the charter school receives certain failing grades, etc.
