Low-Voltage Systems; Revises exemption from licensure related to low-voltage electrical work performed by certain persons & entities; exempts from licensure certain employees & sales representatives of alarm system contractors; provides for construction; provides definitions; provides for applicability; requires local enforcement agencies to offer for sale uniform basic permit labels to contractors for specified cost; requires contractors to post unused label in specified place before commencing work on low-voltage alarm system project; requires contractors to submit specified form within specified period; prescribes form for such notice; provides inspection procedures & requirements for low-voltage alarm system projects; prohibits specified local governments from adopting or maintaining certain ordinances & rules; provides that additional uniform basic permit label shall not be required to perform work on certain alarm systems; provides for applicability.
