SB 2512: Medicaid

GENERAL BILL by Appropriations

Medicaid; Updating references to data to be used for calculations under the disproportionate share program; deleting a requirement relating to medically needy recipients; expressly providing for contracting with eligible managed care plans; revising provisions relating to procuring a provider service network in a region; providing requirements for termination of a contract with certain managed care plans; requiring the Children’s Medical Services Network to operate as a fee-for-service provider service network under certain conditions, etc.

Effective Date: Except as otherwise expressly provided in this act and except for this section, which shall take effect upon this act becoming a law, this act shall take effect July 1, 2014
