    5         339.0803 Funding for transportation projects.
    6  Notwithstanding any other provision of law, beginning in the
    7  2014-2015 fiscal year and each fiscal year thereafter, funds
    8  deposited into the State Transportation Trust Fund pursuant to
    9  s. 212.20(6)(d)6.f. must be used annually as follows:
   10         (1) Eighty-five million shall be used for existing or
   11  planned strategic transportation projects that connect major
   12  markets within this state or between this state and other
   13  states, that focus on job creation, and that increase this
   14  state’s viability in the national and global markets.
   15         (2) Fifteen million shall be used for regionally
   16  significant transportation projects that support the state’s
   17  economic regions and provide connectivity to and through rural
   18  areas. To be eligible for funding under this subsection,
   19  projects must be production-ready in the 5-year work program
   20  developed pursuant to s. 339.135. Funds under this subsection
   21  may be used to provide up to 75 percent of project costs for
   22  eligible projects. Preference shall be given to projects that
   23  have been identified as regionally significant in accordance
   24  with s. 339.155(4)(c), (d), and (e) and that have provided an
   25  increased level of nonstate match.
   26         (3) Ten million shall be used for capital projects,
   27  equipment, or facilities for existing or planned public transit
   28  transportation projects.
