PROPOSED BILL by Appropriations

Tax Administration; Removing the requirement that the department review the level of assessment of use-valued properties in its reviews of county assessment rolls; providing monetary and criminal penalties for a dealer’s willful failure to collect certain taxes or fees after receiving notice of such duty to collect from the Department of Revenue; deleting provisions relating to the imposition of criminal penalties after Department of Revenue notice of requirements to register as a dealer or to collect taxes, etc.

Effective Date: Except as otherwise expressly provided in this act, this act shall take effect upon becoming a law
