       Senator Montford moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (653454) (with directory and
    2  title amendments)
    3  
    4         Between lines 1034 and 1035
    5  insert:
    6         (e) The parent shall ensure that the student participating
    7  in the scholarship program participates takes the norm
    8  referenced assessment offered by the private school. The parent
    9  may also choose to have the student participate in the statewide
   10  assessments pursuant to s. 1008.22. If the parent requests that
   11  the student participating in the scholarship program take
   12  statewide assessments pursuant to s. 1008.22 and the private
   13  school has not chosen to offer and administer the statewide
   14  assessments, the private school parent is responsible for
   15  transporting the student in a manner as agreed upon by the
   16  parent, which may include but not be limited to transportation
   17  by the parent, to the assessment site designated by the school
   18  district and for making arrangements for the student to take the
   19  assessments at an assessment site designated by the school
   20  district in accordance with the district’s assessment schedule.

   23  And the directory clause is amended as follows:
   24         Delete lines 559 - 568
   25  and insert:
   26         Section 3. Paragraph (c) is added to subsection (1) of
   27  section 1002.395, Florida Statutes, paragraph (f) of subsection
   28  (2), subsection (3), subsection (5), subsection (6), paragraph
   29  (e) of subsection (7), paragraphs (c) and (e) of subsection (8),
   30  paragraphs (d), (j), and (o) of subsection (9), and paragraph
   31  (a) of subsection (12) of that section are amended, present
   32  paragraphs (h) through (j) of subsection (2) are redesignated as
   33  paragraphs (i) through (k), respectively, and a new paragraph
   34  (h) is added to that subsection, paragraph (g) is added to
   35  subsection (7), and subsection (16) is added to that section, to
   36  read:
