       The Committee on Governmental Oversight and Accountability
       (Legg) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 61 - 74
    4  and insert:
    5         (b) One member each from at least three of the medical
    6  schools in the state.
    7         (c)(b) Not more than 18 members and not more than one each
    8  Twenty-one members, who must include one representative from
    9  among each of the following areas: nursing with diabetes
   10  educator certification; dietary with diabetes educator
   11  certification; podiatry; ophthalmology or optometry; psychology;
   12  pharmacy; adult endocrinology; pediatric endocrinology; the
   13  American Diabetes Association (ADA); the American Association of
   14  Diabetes Educators; the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation (JDF); the
   15  Florida Academy of Family Physicians; a community health center;
   16  a county health department; an ADA-recognized American Diabetes
   17  Association recognized community education program; each medical
   18  school in the state; an osteopathic medical school; the
   19  insurance industry; a Children’s Medical Services diabetes
   20  regional program; and an employer.

   24  And the directory clause is amended as follows:
   25         Delete lines 21 - 22
   26  and insert:
   27  present paragraph (b) of subsection (3) of that section is
   28  amended and redesignated as paragraph (c), and a new paragraph
   29  (b) is added to that subsection, to read:

   33         Delete lines 9 - 12
   34  and insert:
   35         the report; adjusting the representation of certain
   36         areas of specialization or institutions in the
