       The Committee on Transportation (Brandes) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 266 and 267
    4  insert:
    5         Section 4. Subsection (14) of section 316.515, Florida
    6  Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         316.515 Maximum width, height, length.—
    8         (14) MANUFACTURED BUILDINGS.—The Department of
    9  Transportation may, in its discretion and upon application and
   10  good cause shown therefor that the same is not contrary to the
   11  public interest, issue a special permit for truck tractor
   12  semitrailer combinations where the total number of overwidth
   13  deliveries of manufactured buildings, as defined in s.
   14  553.36(13), may be reduced by permitting the use of multiple
   15  sections or single units on an overlength trailer of no more
   16  than 80 54 feet.

   18  And the title is amended as follows:
   19         Delete line 13
   20  and insert:
   21         displays in vehicles; amending s. 316.515, F.S.;

   25         buildings may be reduced by the transport of multiple
