GENERAL BILL by Appropriations ; Latvala ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Detert

Economic Development; Expanding the definition of the term “blighted area” to include a substantial number or percentage of properties damaged by sinkhole activity which are not adequately repaired or stabilized; requiring the Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) to recommend to the Governor approval or disapproval of a project that will receive funds from specified programs; creating the Quick Action Closing Fund Escrow Account within the State Board of Administration; requiring the DEO to recertify the professional golf hall of fame facility annually, etc. APPROPRIATION: $23,800,000

Effective Date: Except as otherwise expressly provided in this act, this act shall take effect July 1, 2015
