GENERAL BILL by Fiscal Policy ; Soto ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Abruzzo

Criminal Justice; Citing this act as the "43 Days Initiative Act"; providing enhanced criminal penalties for a third or subsequent violation of an injunction for protection against specified acts of violence or a foreign protection order issued under specified provisions; revising time limitations for the criminal prosecution of specified sexual battery offenses if the victim is 16 years of age or older; removing the court’s discretion to impose a specified penalty for a first violation of sexting, etc.
