GENERAL BILL by Regulatory Affairs Committee ; Business and Professions Subcommittee ; Van Zant ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Ahern ; Geller ; Plasencia ; Rouson

Engineers; Prohibits person who is not licensed as engineer or structural engineer from using specified names & titles or practicing engineering or structural engineering; exempts certain persons from licensing requirements; establishes various fees for examination & licensure of structural engineers; provides licensure & application requirements for structural engineer license; exempts under certain conditions structural engineer who applies for licensure before specified date from passage of certain national examination; requires board to certify certain applicants for licensure by endorsement; prohibits specified persons from using specified names & titles; provides various acts which constitute grounds for disciplinary action against structural engineer, to which penalties apply.
