       Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and Human Services
       (Richter) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Before line 14
    4  insert:
    5         Section 1. Subsection (9) of section 393.063, Florida
    6  Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         393.063 Definitions.—For the purposes of this chapter, the
    8  term:
    9         (9) “Developmental disability” means a disorder or syndrome
   10  that is attributable to intellectual disability, cerebral palsy,
   11  autism, Down syndrome, spina bifida, or Prader-Willi syndrome;
   12  that manifests before the age of 18; and that constitutes a
   13  substantial handicap that can reasonably be expected to continue
   14  indefinitely.

   18  and insert:
   19         disabilities; amending s. 393.063, F.S.; revising the
