CS/CS/SB 382: Assisted Living Facilities

GENERAL BILL by Appropriations ; Health Policy ; Sobel ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Gaetz ; Gibson

Assisted Living Facilities; Providing that Medicaid managed care plans are responsible for enrolled mental health residents; providing that managing entities under contract with the Department of Children and Families are responsible for mental health residents who are not enrolled with a Medicaid managed care plan; requiring the Agency for Health Care Administration to impose a fine if a facility is not in compliance with certain background screening requirements; directing the agency to create an assisted living facility consumer information website, etc.
