    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to specialty license plates; amending
    3         ss. 320.08056 and 320.08058, F.S.; creating a Rotary’s
    4         Camp Florida license plate; establishing an annual use
    5         fee for the license plate; providing for the
    6         distribution of use fees received from the sale of
    7         such license plates; providing an effective date.

    9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   10  
   11         Section 1. Paragraph (iiii) is added to subsection (4) of
   12  section 320.08056, Florida Statutes, to read:
   13         320.08056 Specialty license plates.—
   14         (4) The following license plate annual use fees shall be
   15  collected for the appropriate specialty license plates:
   16         (iiii) Rotary’s Camp Florida license plate, $25.
   17         Section 2. Subsection (87) is added to section 320.08058,
   18  Florida Statutes, to read:
   19         320.08058 Specialty license plates.—
   20         (87) ROTARY’S CAMP FLORIDA LICENSE PLATES.—
   21         (a) Notwithstanding s. 45 of chapter 2008-176, Laws of
   22  Florida, as amended by s. 45 of chapter 2014-216, Laws of
   23  Florida, and s. 320.08053(1), the department shall develop a
   24  Rotary’s Camp Florida license plate as provided in s.
   25  320.08053(2) and (3) and this section. The plate must bear the
   26  colors and design approved by the department. The word “Florida”
   27  must appear at the top of the plate, and the words “Rotary’s
   28  Camp Florida” must appear at the bottom of the plate.
   29         (b) The license plate annual use fees shall be distributed
   30  to Rotary’s Camp Florida, which may use a maximum of 10 percent
   31  of the proceeds for administrative costs and for marketing the
   32  plate. Up to 23 percent shall be distributed as grants to
   33  Florida Rotary Districts that provide camp services to children
   34  in this state, with the balance of the proceeds to be used by
   35  Rotary’s Camp Florida for direct support to the programs and
   36  services provided to children who attend the camp.
   37         Section 3. This act shall take effect October 1, 2015.
