       Senator Bullard moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)
    2  
    3         Between lines 222 and 223
    4  insert:
    5         (i) Memorandum of understanding.—The department shall enter
    6  into a memorandum of understanding with each school district.
    7  The memorandum of understanding must specify the quantity and
    8  variety of statewide, standardized assessments to be
    9  administered in the applicable school year. The terms outlined
   10  in the memorandum of understanding must provide that the
   11  administration of statewide, standardized assessments will not
   12  result in significant disruption of classroom time.

   17  and insert:
