       Appropriations Subcommittee on General Government (Simpson)
       recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 613 - 629
    4  and insert:
    5         (b) In the event a qualifying architect or interior
    6  designer ceases employment with the business organization, the
    7  executive director or the chair of the board may authorize
    8  another registered architect or interior designer employed by
    9  the business organization to temporarily serve as its qualifying
   10  agent for a period of no more than 60 days. The business
   11  organization is not authorized to operate beyond such period
   12  under this chapter absent replacement of the qualifying
   13  architect or interior designer who has ceased employment.
