Office; revising requirements for notifying a parent of a student with a substantial reading deficiency; establishing the program to recognize a high school graduate who has attained a high level of competency in one or more foreign languages; requiring district school boards to allocate certain instruction resources to certain students deficient in reading; revising duties and requirements for implementation of the School Community Professional Development Act, etc. APPROPRIATION: $344,848
