CS/CS/CS/SB 150: Controlled Substances

GENERAL BILL by Appropriations ; Judiciary ; Criminal Justice ; Steube ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Baxley ; Passidomo ; Artiles ; Mayfield

Controlled Substances; Providing that certain emergency responders and crime laboratory personnel may possess, store, and administer emergency opioid antagonists; adding certain synthetic opioid substitute compounds to the list of Schedule I controlled substances; revising the substances that constitute the offenses of trafficking and capital trafficking in, and capital importation of, hydrocodone and oxycodone; revising the mitigating circumstances under which a departure from the lowest permissible sentence is reasonably justified, etc.
