    1                    Senate Concurrent Resolution                   
    2         A concurrent resolution extending the 2017 Regular
    3         Session of the Florida Legislature under the authority
    4         of Section 3(d), Article III of the State
    5         Constitution.

    7         WHEREAS, the 60 days of the 2017 Regular Session of the
    8  Florida Legislature will expire on Friday, May 5, 2017, and the
    9  necessary tasks of the session have not been completed, NOW,
   10  THEREFORE,

   12  Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of Florida, the House
   13  of Representatives Concurring:
   14  
   15         That, notwithstanding Senate Concurrent Resolution 1530,
   16  the 2017 Regular Session of the Florida Legislature is extended
   17  until 11:59 p.m., Monday, May 8, 2017, under the authority of
   18  Section 3(d), Article III of the State Constitution.
   19         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, in the regular session so
   20  extended, the Legislature shall consider only the following
   21  matters:
   22         (1) Senate Bill 2500, the General Appropriations bill, or
   23  any Senate and House Conference Committee Report thereon.
   24         (2) Senate Bill 2502, the Appropriations Implementing bill,
   25  or any Senate and House Conference Committee Report thereon.
   26         (3) The following bills:
   27         (a) Senate Bill 7022, or any Senate and House Conference
   28  Committee Report thereon;
   29         (b) Senate Bill 2504, or any Senate and House Conference
   30  Committee Report thereon;
   31         (c) Senate Bill 2506, or any Senate and House Conference
   32  Committee Report thereon;
   33         (d) Senate Bill 2508, or any Senate and House Conference
   34  Committee Report thereon;
   35         (e) Senate Bill 2510, or any Senate and House Conference
   36  Committee Report thereon;
   37         (f) Senate Bill 2512, or any Senate and House Conference
   38  Committee Report thereon;
   39         (g) Senate Bill 2514, or any Senate and House Conference
   40  Committee Report thereon;
   41         (h) Committee Substitute for Committee Substitute for
   42  Senate Bill 374, or any Senate and House Conference Committee
   43  Report thereon;
   44         (i) House Bill 5203, or any Senate and House Conference
   45  Committee Report thereon;
   46         (j) House Bill 5205, or any Senate and House Conference
   47  Committee Report thereon;
   48         (k) House Bill 5301, or any Senate and House Conference
   49  Committee Report thereon;
   50         (l) House Bill 5401, or any Senate and House Conference
   51  Committee Report thereon;
   52         (m) House Bill 5403, or any Senate and House Conference
   53  Committee Report thereon;
   54         (n) House Bill 5501, or any Senate and House Conference
   55  Committee Report thereon;
   56         (o) Committee Substitute for House Bill 7069, or any Senate
   57  and House Conference Committee Report thereon; and
   58         (p) House Bill 7109.
   59         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other measures in both
   60  houses are indefinitely postponed and withdrawn from
   61  consideration of the respective house as of 11:59 p.m., Friday,
   62  May 5, 2017.
   63         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon recess or adjournment
   64  Friday, May 5, 2017, either house may reconvene upon the call of
   65  its presiding officer.
   66         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that both houses shall sine die
   67  concurrently upon completion of the necessary tasks of the
   68  extended regular session.
