       The Committee on Innovation, Industry, and Technology (Gibson)
       recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (672276) (with title
    2  amendment)

    5  insert:
    6         Section 6. Paragraph (a) of subsection (11) of section
    7  760.02, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
    8         760.02 Definitions.—For the purposes of ss. 760.01-760.11
    9  and 509.092, the term:
   10         (11) “Public accommodations” means places of public
   11  accommodation, lodgings, facilities principally engaged in
   12  selling food for consumption on the premises, gasoline stations,
   13  places of exhibition or entertainment, and other covered
   14  establishments. Each of the following establishments which
   15  serves the public is a place of public accommodation within the
   16  meaning of this section:
   17         (a) Any inn, hotel, motel, vacation rental as defined in s.
   18  509.242(1)(c), or other establishment which provides lodging to
   19  transient guests, other than an establishment located within a
   20  building which contains not more than four rooms for rent or
   21  hire and which is actually occupied by the proprietor of such
   22  establishment as his or her residence.

   26         Delete line 764
   27  and insert:
   28         certain circumstances; providing penalties; amending
   29         s. 760.02, F.S.; revising the definition of the term
   30         “public accommodations” to include vacation rentals;
   31         amending
