       The Committee on Commerce and Tourism (Hutson) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 30 - 32
    4  and insert:
    5         (3) The import of shark fins to this state is prohibited.
    6         (4)(a) Except as provided under paragraph (b), the sale of
    7  shark fins in this state and the export of shark fins from this
    8  state are prohibited.
    9         (b) This subsection does not apply to any commercial
   10  fisherman who holds a valid federal shark fishing permit on
   11  January 1, 2020, or to seafood dealers who harvest and possess
   12  sharks, shark fins, and associated shark products that are
   13  legally landed, handled, processed, and transported. This
   14  paragraph expires on January 1, 2025.
   15         (5)(3) A person who violates this section is subject to the
   16

   18  And the title is amended as follows:
   19         Delete line 3
   20  and insert:
   21         F.S.; prohibiting the import of shark fins to this
   22         state; prohibiting the sale of shark fins within or
   23         the export of shark fins from this state; providing
   24         applicability;
