       The Committee on Governmental Oversight and Accountability
       (Torres) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 47 - 56
    4  and insert:
    5         (1)(a) The supervisor shall accept a request for a vote-by
    6  mail ballot from an elector in person or in writing. One request
    7  is shall be deemed sufficient to receive a vote-by-mail ballot
    8  for all elections until the elector or the elector’s designee
    9  notifies the supervisor that the elector rescinds such request
   10  through the end of the calendar year of the second ensuing
   11  regularly scheduled general election, unless the elector or the
   12  elector’s designee indicates at the time the request is made the
   13  elections for which the elector desires to receive a vote-by
   14  mail ballot. Such request may be considered canceled when any
   15  first-class mail sent by the supervisor to the elector is
   16  returned as undeliverable.

   20         Delete lines 3 - 6
   21  and insert:
   22         s. 101.62, F.S.; authorizing standing vote-by-mail
   23         ballot requests until such a request is rescinded by
   24         an elector or the elector’s designee; requiring vote
   25         by-mail ballot
