       The Committee on Appropriations (Burgess) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 270 - 280
    4  and insert:
    5  detached single-family residential homes that are either
    6  detached or 25 multifamily dwelling units, which may include
    7  apartments dwellings. This paragraph does not apply to
    8  multifamily projects over five stories in height.
    9         (b) Each single-family residential home or residence will
   10  have its own residential graywater system that is dedicated for
   11  its use. Each residence forming part of a multifamily project
   12  will be serviced by either its own residential graywater system
   13  dedicated for its use or a master graywater collection and reuse
   14  system for the entire project.
   15         (d) The required maintenance of the graywater system will
   16  be the responsibility of the owner residential homeowner.
   17         (e) An operation and maintenance manual for the graywater
   18  system will be supplied to either the initial owner of the
   19  residence or the initial owner of a multifamily project that
   20  will be serviced by a master graywater collection and reuse
   21  system the initial homeowner of each home. The manual must shall
   22  provide a method of contacting the installer or manufacturer and
   23  must shall include directions to the initial owner residential
   24  homeowner that the manual shall remain with the residence or the
   25  project throughout the life cycle of the system.
