       Senator Gruters moved the following:
       
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    4         Delete lines 414 - 423
    5  and insert:
    6         (4) A notice of claim for loss assessment coverage under s.
    7  627.714 may not occur later than 3 years after the date of the
    8  occurrence that gave rise to the loss and must be provided to
    9  the insurer the later of:
   10         (a) Within 1 year after the date of the occurrence that
   11  gave rise to the loss; or
   12         (b) Within 90 days after the date on which the condominium
   13  association or its governing board votes to levy an assessment
   14  resulting from a covered loss.
