       Senator Gaetz moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment
    2  
    3         Delete lines 47 - 53
    4  and insert:
    5  prospectively to accessory dwelling units approved after the
    6  date the ordinance is adopted. Such ordinance may regulate the
    7  permitting, construction, and use of an accessory dwelling unit,
    8  but may not do any of the following:
    9         (a) Prohibit the renting or leasing of an accessory
   10  dwelling unit, except to prohibit the renting or leasing of an
   11  accessory dwelling unit approved after the effective date of the
   12  ordinance for a term of less than 1 month, notwithstanding s.
   13  509.032(7)(b).
