Senate 0040: Relating to Relief/Marissa Amora/DCFS

S40      CLAIMS/GENERAL BILL by Lawson
  Relief/Marissa Amora/DCFS; Provides for the relief of Marissa Amora in
  furtherance of chapter 2008-258, Laws of Florida. Compensates her for
  injuries and damages sustained as a result of negligence by employees of
  the Department of Children and Family Services. Requires a specified
  legislative budget request. Provides a limitation on the payment of
  attorney's fees and costs. Provides legislative intent as to the waiver
  of all lien interests held by the state, etc.  CLAIM WITH APPROPRIATION:
  $1,700,000.  EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon becoming law.
