House 0053: Relating to Discretionary Surtax On Documents

H53      GENERAL BILL by Smith  (Similar S 2450)
  Discretionary Surtax On Documents; authorizes certain counties operating
  under home rule charter to levy discretionary surtax for purposes of
  establishing & funding Housing Assistance Loan Trust Fund to assist in
  providing housing for low & moderate-income families; prohibits certain
  counties from levying surtax unless approved by majority of electors of
  county voting in referendum, etc. Amends 125.0167, 201.031,.0205.
  EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon becoming law.
