House 1307: Relating to Property Insurance

H1307    GENERAL BILL by R. Saunders; (CO-SPONSORS) Roberson  (Compare
  CS/CS/H 1267, CS/3RD ENG/S 2498)
  Property Insurance; prohibits certain insurers from transacting
  residential property insurance business under certain circumstances;
  prohibits private passenger automobile insurance insurers from writing
  such insurance under certain circumstances; deletes "use & file"
  provisions; eliminates distinction between homestead & nonhomestead
  properties for coverage under Citizens Property Insurance Corp., etc.
  Amends 624.404, 627.062,.351; creates 627.70185.  EFFECTIVE DATE:
  07/01/2007.
