S1574 GENERAL BILL by Villalobos (Identical H 1499) Legislature/Oaths and Affirmations [SPSC]; Eliminates the authority of members of a legislative committee to administer certain oaths and affirmations to witnesses. Eliminates penalties for false swearing before a legislative committee. Requires that persons addressing a legislative committee take an oath or affirmation of truthfulness.
