House 1027: Relating to Retirement

  Retirement; Designates act "Adam Pierce Act"; provides statement of
  important state interest; revises definition of special risk member to
  include certain members suffering qualifying injury; provides
  eligibility requirements for membership in Special Risk Class for
  certain members suffering qualifying injury; provides medical
  certification requirements; defines "qualifying injury"; prohibits grant
  or creation of additional rights, etc.  EFFECTIVE DATE: 10/01/2009.
