Babcock Ranch Preserve Act; creates said act; requires State Lands Div.
of DEP to perform certain staff duties & functions for Babcock Ranch,
Inc.; creates Babcock Ranch, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation to be
incorporated in state; provides that corporation shall act as an
instrumentality of state for purposes of sovereign immunity; provides
requirements for comprehensive business plan; authorizes corporation to
assess fees, etc. Creates 259.1053. APPROPRIATION: $50,000. EFFECTIVE
DATE: Contingent.
