(Identical H 0447)
Culpable Negligence/Assault Weapons [LPCC]; Cites this act as the
"Officer Jose Somohano Assault Weapons Act." Provides that it is a third
degree felony to expose another person to personal injury, through
culpable negligence, by storing or leaving an assault weapon within the
reach or easy access of another person, if the person obtains the weapon
and uses it to inflict injury or death, etc. EFFECTIVE DATE:
10/01/2008.
