S782     GENERAL BILL/CS by Criminal Justice; Margolis  (Compare H 0425)
  Weapons and Firearms [LPCC]; Increases the minimum terms of imprisonment
  imposed for possessing, discharging, or seriously harming another with a
  semiautomatic firearm and its high-capacity detachable box magazine or
  with a machine gun. Provides that potential buyers or transferees of a
  firearm who willfully and knowingly provide false information or false
  or fraudulent identification by using the identity of a victim of
  identity theft commits a second degree felony, etc.  EFFECTIVE DATE:
  07/01/2008.
