Senate 1126: Relating to Investor Protection [CPSC]

S1126    GENERAL BILL/CS by Judiciary; Richter; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Ring; Storms;
  Oelrich; Lynn; Crist; Aronberg  (Similar CS/CS/H 0483)
  Investor Protection [CPSC]; Expands the jurisdiction of the Office of
  Statewide Prosecution to investigate and prosecute certain additional
  offenses. Exempts certain transactions involving viatical settlement
  investments from certain registration requirements. Authorizes the
  Financial Services Commission to waive certain requirements by rule.
  Provides that certain actions constitute an immediate and serious danger
  to the public safety, health & welfare, etc.  EFFECTIVE DATE:
  07/01/2009.
