Senate 1304: Relating to Byrd Alzheimer's Center and Research Institute [SPSC]

S1304    GENERAL BILL/CS/CS by Higher Education Appropriations; Higher Education;
  Joyner  (Similar CS/CS/H 0443, Compare CS/CS/1ST ENG/S 1696)
  Byrd Alzheimer's Center and Research Institute [SPSC]; Establishes the
  Johhnie B. Byrd, Sr., Alzheimer's Center and Research Institute within
  the University of South Florida. Creates a board of directors to oversee
  the management and operation of the institute. Provides that the
  institute shall be administered by a CEO. Requires the CEO to actively
  seek grant moneys to fund research at the institute. Provides for the
  transfer of all assets & records of the institute to the university,
  etc.  EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon becoming law.
