Senate 2040: Relating to 911 Emergency Dispatcher Certification [SPSC] ------------------------------------------------------------------

911 Emergency Dispatcher Certification [SPSC]; Requires any person
serving as a 911 emergency dispatcher to be certified by the DOH on or
after a specified date. Provides conditions under which a public safety
agency may employ a 911 emergency dispatcher trainee for a limited
period. Requires applicants to apply for certification or
recertification on a specified form. Provides for quadrennial renewal of
certification. Clarifies certain grounds for disciplinary actions, etc.
EFFECTIVE DATE: 10/01/2009.
